Our Speaker, Mike Meetze

Our featured speaker for the February 12th CBMC sponsored Business Men’s Luncheon will be Mike Meetze.

Mike has been a life long resident of Lexington and loves to remember the small town atmosphere he grew up in.

After a tour in the Air Force Mike settled into a Law Enforcement career that would span 31 years, from a Deputy Sheriff in Lexington County, to teaching Hostage Negotiations at the Police Academy. Then he spent his last fifteen years working a Drug Dog and ultimately supervising a 14 person K-9 Unit for the state corrections system.

Mike retired from his old career and started a new one with Delta Homes in June and has never looked back, this is the happiest he has have been in years. But as happy as Mike seemed on the outside he didn’t know Jesus as his savior until he was 32 years old. So now at 56 Mike shares the story of how God changed a troubled young man into a servant for the kingdom.

I’m sure you won’t want to miss hearing what Mike has to share, so be sure to mark February 12th on your calendars to attend Hot Dogs at the Cap. Two hot dogs, fixen’s, and a beverage will be served at a cost of $5.00.
